Beth's Arrival

Well - our precious girl has finally arrived. We induced at 6 AM on July 12th. She was born at 2:43 PM that afternoon. I was blessed to only have to push about 30 minutes and came a perfect 7 pound 7ounce 20 inch baby girl. Covered in black hair (not sure where that came from b/c John has strawberry blonde hair and i have blonde - but who knows - mom thinks it might all fall out and come back blonde - time will tell). One thing is for sure - she looks just like her daddy and she is loved very much. I am adjusting to motherhood more slowly than i thought - but i am confident it will get better. Napping is an art i am trying to learn...as is breastfeeding. I can't wait to get a routine figured out so i can start taking her out and showing her off.

Her and Daddy for the first time: Our little girl - wide eyed and alert - hence my need for many naps:

Oma and Opa Sonnenberg....along with our two dogs...Holly & Patches...they have done better than expected...Patches goes wherever she goes...so he is one worn out little guy...Holly just wants to lick her all over.

PaPa Kellermeier holding his little granddaugher on Father's Day:

Nanna Kellermeier - holding her little granddaughter for the first time...how spoiled she will be:

Well - that is it for now...i have to get in a nap before my little toot wakes back up. I will try to post again after our first outing...whenever that will be - hopefully soon.

You will get it all figured out and I promise the napping and breast feeding will both get better and easier with time. We want to come by sometime so Chad can see her- and I want to see her again too. Let me know when things get better and we will stop by one evening.
I vote she needs to keep the dark hair and get some brown eyes :)
