Easter 2011

we got lots of diapers and wipes - much needed in a week or two.

A new tradition - borrowed from John's mom...
we make an Easter rabbit nest out of hay the night before and put carrots in it.
Then the bunny eats the carrots and leaves the Easter gift the next morning....

Almost Easter!!!!

We busted out the swimsuit last week and set up a sprinkler beach ball...Beth loves the water.

For any parents out there...this $10 beach ball thing is well worth the money.

They had donkey basketball this week at Ballinger High School...
It was a fundraiser for FFA (good idea for anyone looking for a fundraiser)
and it was hilarious!!!!

I knew i loved teaching in Ballinger...but the kids just get better and better.
My pre-cal class made me a diaper cake this week - too cute!!!!

New Puppy & I got a C for Cole

And my mom got me a "C" from our hobby lobby in San Angelo - they finally restocked...
so woohoo - his name is no longer 'ole...so put away your sombreros.

Here is one last look at his room before he gets here - only about 4 more weeks - maybe less.

Yes - she is naked and learned how to turn on the facet "full blast" to make a "sprinkler".
We have real sprinklers...but she managed to do this while i was cooking supper...and i looked out and thought...
thank goodness we live in the country - or i would be in trouble for this.

I just love her so much....how life will change when Cole arrives.

Valentines to St. Patty's Day

 Things are going good...i am 34 weeks pregnant and enjoying Beth so much.  I can't wait for Cole to arrive...but i just can't imagine a better child than Beth.  She is sweet, smart, and just plain awesome.  Hope you all enjoy the pictures.

We have been getting things ready for "Cole" when he arrives...and Beth decided to get back in her old car seat.  Hard to believe when we left the hospital with her - she seemed to disappear in that thing...and now she doesn't fit at all.

We got a new puppy - SUGAR - she is a double dapple piebald weenie dog....we LOVE her....so does Beth.

This is going to be Cole's room.  No his name will not be Ole...but Hobby Lobby is out of the Cs currently...so if anyone finds one - buy it and ship it to me...i will pay you back.

Has it almost been a year - oooops!!!!

Please forgive me...i finally got around to doing this today...i had lost touch with one of my good friends...couldn't get her email - and then remembered her blog...so found it - and oh my a lot can go on in 10 months...like they had a baby boy - congrats adrienne.  So i thought...i better get back to my blog....so i am attempting to keep this a little more up to date....there are pictures missing from last april to early summer...but i plan on posting them when i find them...for now....enjoy the 6 months i have uploaded.

Now she is trying out daddy's new lawn mower...much needed now that our 18000 sq. foot of grass to mow.

And yes - it poured 7 inches in July....and go figure...i have a mud monster for a little girl...she LOVES to be dirty...guess that is why potty training in such a nightmare.

And from mud monster to princess....she will sometimes where that dress and strut around like a "girlie" girl.

NeNe took Beth and i to the zoo in august before school started...Abliene has the perfect zoo for a 2 yr old...just enough animals...and it only took about 45 minutes...we had a blast...But i think Sally had the best day b/c she now has her first grandchild cussing story....it goes something like this....

We were headed to the zoo - following the signs...and then saw a detour....so we turned in - and realized we had probably turned in too soon....so we pulled into a parking lot to discuss what we should do and which street to go on...and Beth - without prompting...just blurts out "What the hell"....which we laughed hysterically b/c it was prefect timing and the perfect saying for the situation.

Beth and Kyler went to the Miles Cotton Festival Parade...it was a fun time...Kyler got all the candy and just shared with Beth - he is a sweetie.

I started my new job at Ballinger...and being the Student Council sponsor has a perk...i get to purchase the crown...and so Beth got to play with it that night before homecoming...isn't she a cute little princess in her little Texas Tech cheerleading outfit.

And John bought her this tractor at the Wall Fall Festival.....she loves it.

October 24 - Mark and Ashley had their little girl Avery Nicole....and so now Beth has a little girl cousin...and she is precious!!!

Dad and Beth decided to make cookies one night...and yes - she is licking the beater with cookie dough that has raw eggs in it....we are "CRAZY" parents - aren't we?

More cookie fun....we are making halloween cookies with Ome Sonnenberg....so much fun.

I think she really, really likes cooking....she even rolls out her playdough now to make cookies.

And yes - we made a mess....but can you tell from that smile that it was totally worth it.  It was awesome....we will do it again - no matter the mess it makes.

And announcing we are going to have another baby...due date...May 7th 2011 - pretty excited...

 ON that Friday...we went to our first movie with Kyler - is this consider a first date?  They shared popcorn, drinks and watched tangled....to my knowledge they only exchanged a hug...no kisses on a first date.

And yes - she is trying to help decorate the christmas tree...balls before lights doesn't work...so i just removed them after she went to bed so i could put the lights on and she could help put balls back on later.

She dumped all the ornaments in her trailer and told me she was making popcorn...too funny.

This is Beth's cousin Landon...my brother Scott's little boy...they are also due with their second child the same week as me...we are both having boys this round....They are naming their next son Cooper.  John and i will be naming our little boy Cole.

This is my mom and dad (Ome and Opa Sonnenberg) with Beth and her cousin Johnathan...this is my brother Clifton's son - he is married Kerri.  She is the best!!!!

John insisted we set up her "big girl" bed from santa in the living room so that morning she would be shocked at what Santa brought her...kinda of a pain b/c then he had to take it all apart again and move it into her room - and she was more impressed with the fact that Santa had actually ate the milk and cookies than she was with the bed.

 Yep - Santa came and ate them...yummy!!!   Beth's face that morning was priceless...she skipped right over the fact that santa had assembled her big girl bed in the living room - and was more amazed that he ate the cookies...it was the coolest thing every - being a mom is awesome!!!!
