Fun in Pa Paw's cotton field

Sally (Nanna) and I went out to Ralph's (Pa Paw's) cotton field yesterday before he started stripping it today....i think we got some really good pictures...she is really starting to giggle and laugh a lot...although I am not the best at capturing her smiles on camera. But i did get a few.

Here she is with Sally at the end of the picture session....the sun is setting and i think it is a great picture of the both of them.
I am going to crop this one - b/c i think it just might be the best one.

She looks like she is just relaxing...too funny!!!

Here she is with Oma Sonnenberg...she stayed the night so John and I could go to our friend Chrisit's b-day party.
Oma bought a chair just for her...and she loves it.
And of course she has Opa wrapped around her little finger.

Texas Tech Football Party

Here is Beth riding the "tractor" that Nanna and Papaw Kellermeier bought. Looks like she might be taking after Grandpa. This is the shirt that Haleigh bought her at the roping fiesta...it is very appropriate...for those that can't make out what it says "Does this diaper make my butt look big?"...of course my response is - no sweetheart - you got your momma's behind - sorry about the genetics.

Here is Beth and Brody dressed for the Texas Tech game...she had a lot of fun playing with him...they even had a sleep over...kinda.

Here is Christi and Beth...just chilling while everyone is yelling in the room next door...about this time it looked like Texas might beat Texas Tech. Thank goodness Tech pulled out the win.

She is all tuckered out after cheering and playing with everyone...thank goodness for Stephanie...Beth really loves falling to sleep in her arms. We took Beth to hang out at Kymbree's on Halloween. I think the girls looks so cute in their Halloween onsies.

And it is confirmed...she is a sloppy eater like me....but at least she likes sweet potatoes, peaches, pears, prunes, rice cereal....you name - except peas...she is not a fan of peas.

4 months and going

Well - we made it to Lubbock on October 11th for Texas Tech's homecoming....GO RAIDERS!!! Beth slept most of the way - the last 45 minutes - I hopped in the back and entertained her and gave her juice till we could get to the Meat Science Banquet. Then we headed off to Matt & Tammy's house - and i just realized i didn't get one picture of them...so next time - i hope they are ready to take some picutres with Beth. We tailgated with them...walked over to the meat science tailgate (this is Beth with Daddy and his friend Travis - we call him toothpick). She did great...then Tammy and I headed back to their house as rain clouds where coming in and Matt and John went on to watch Texas Tech beat Nebraska in overtime. Needless to say it was a great weekend to spend time with Matt & Tammy & John's old buddies and see the Red Raiders win! She had her four month appointment this week - October 15th...she was 54% for weight, 87% for height and 86% for head (she has a big noggin). And we got the okay to start feeding her rice cereal, fruits...and we are going to be working our way to veggies. Then at her six month appointment...we should get to add meats - yummy!!! Below you will see my first attempt at feeding her rice cereal...it didn't go so well - but now she is much better and definitely needs a bid when eating...she has it everywhere b/c she likes to stick her hands in her mouth as she is eating. Here is Beth with Nanna Kellermeier at the Wall Fall Festival...she is one lucky little girl - and spoiled b/c Nanna and Papaw bought a wooden Texas Tech rocking horse and a wooden tractor rocker for the grandkids to play on...and since she is the only one for now...she doesn't have to share...YET. (Beth is hoping Ashley and Mark will have a cousin for her to play with soon :)

Robin and Kymbree posed with Beth and I at the festival. We had a good time and it was great weather.
Here is her 4 month picture....a little late b/c i was too tired to get one of her when we got back from Lubbock...but she is in the cutest outfit that Aunt Ashley gave her.

She loves going for a walk at the park a couple of blocks from the house...and even though i have it for her to sit up and see...she REALLY likes to sit up...so she pushed her elbows back and managed to lean forward enough to kinda suck on the front of the stroller and be able to see everything...it was too cute - i had to take a picture.

Beth got her first heifer this weekend. John went to a sale in Christoval and came home with Coco.
We took Coco at to Nanna and Papaw Kellermeier's barn and Beth got to go inside and try out the Texas Tech rocking horse they bought at the festival last weekend.

And this blog would not be complete without a snapshot of her first halloween outfit. She is a little bumblebee and we took some pictures in Nanna Kellermeier's front yard...b/c she always has the coolest scenes for each season.

One more angle of our little Beth. This is right before she got a handful of hay and stuck it in her mouth...it appears that her and Coco might have something in common - he! he!

First Photo Session

Here is Beth's first photo session with my cousin Laray. We are blessed to have such a talented family member to come take pictures of our beautiful little girl. Thanks again Laray - you are the best.

Beth would have eaten the dress if i would give her time - she explores everything she can with her mouth...it is too cute. But as Daddy says - she shouldn't be practicing lifting up her dress!! HE! HE!

Not from the photo session - but had to put the bonnet on at least one outfit...she really is cute.

Here she is with the two most wonderful women ever. Nannie is who keeps her while I go to work....and her mother Mam ma (Beth's great-great grandma) comes to visit as often as she can.

Here is Beth at her Great-Aunt Diane's house. We are now calling her Auntie D...and she gave Beth her first ponytail...with a little bow - it turned out cute.
Aunt D is also #1 in putting perm rollers in her hair. Can you believe a 3 month old can have hair long enough to get in those things. CRAZY!!!!
Beth and John - isn't he handsome....I truly married the best man ever!!!

One more picture of the most important people in my world. Nothing is more wonderful than a daddy's girl. She is right at home in his arms.

3 months and counting

Well - it has been about a month again - so i have tons of pictures. We took this one Saturday. We decided to try out her Texas Tech cheerleading outfit this weekend before we head up to Lubbock in a couple of weeks.

Here Daddy and Beth are at our first Ballinger Bearcat football game. We left after the 3rd quarter b/c the cats were losing - Beth was so upset - she cried the whole way home. I think it will be a while before we travel somewhere after her bedtime.
Sitting with her cousing "little Jill" at Chad's football game. Chad is going to be quite the athlete and i think Beth is practicing screaming so that her and "little Jill" can cheer for Chad together. Can you see the resemblence...i can.

Great-Grandma Gertrude and Great-Grandpa Edward had to take their turns at holding Beth at Chad's game too - can you blame them?

Beth and Pa Paw Kellermeier are just hanging out talking to each other...she is getting to be such a big girl and she loves to sit up.

Beth and Kymbree Hirt are having some girl time...already holding hands...it won't be long before these two girls are hanging out like their mommies.

All dressed up for Jamie Davis and Chase Akin's wedding. Our number one babysitter - Stephanie Cain took care of her most of the night...Beth LOVES her aunt Steph.

Had to get one pose with the Bride - Jamie is goregous...and was sweet enough to take some time to visit with miss Beth and Steph.

All tuckered out after the wedding ceremony...Beth decided to catch a quick cat nap on Daddy before the dance and reception got going.

Here is our 3 month picture - wow - it is hard to believe she is that old already - time is flying and she is growing and changing so much. I know that all the advice from other moms is so true. I have to enjoy her while she is small - b/c it won't last long.

We got a Bumbo in today...and it is really cool b/c she can't sit without support - but this thing allows her to do just that...it is going to be a God send i am sure.

Beth is just hanging out and looks so cute in this onsie...i think it is my favorite. Her face is changing so much....and she is finally chunking up a little bit. I think she might have my eyebrows....and pretty sure my lungs b/c she sure can squeal now.

She is one HAPPY baby. After the colicy first eight weeks...she has become a true joy. She wakes up smiling and pretty much only gets fussy when it is time to take a nap or eat. I just love her smile. Nothing melts a heart faster.

Beth is just catchin a nap on Opa Sonnenberg. She really likes hanging out in his lap - and he adores her more than anything in the world. She is definitely Opa's #1 girl.

Here is Nannie holding Beth at Lindsey and BJ's baby shower. Nannie and Pa have been amazing. They are keeping her each day while i go to work and teach...and John and I will never be able to repay them for the blessing they are giving us. Beth LOVES going to Nannie and Pa's....she is being loved and spoiled daily and i couldn't be happier about it.

Finally - a picture of Beth and me. Mommies don't much picture time - b/c we are always holding the camera...but i had John take a picture of us girls all dressed up and headed to Lindsey's baby shower.
