7 months and rolling

Beth is posing for her 7 month picture...and yes - i know - she is 8 months old today and i am just now getting around to posting...but i have been busy...so i hope you enjoy the pictures.

Here is Beth and her 2nd cousin Sydney (she was born at the end of October) with their great-great grandma....we all call her Mam ma. She is awesome...and the girls had a good time staring at each other.Beth LOVES her walker...at first i was thinking we got her the wrong Christmas present b/c she couldn't move in at all - boy was i wrong. She can go EVERYWHERE in that thing. She loves to move it so she grab things off the coffee table...and well just about anything she can reach. And who needs toys...she love playing with napkins, magazines (both tear apart easily - not so much to clean up after her)...and straws...just have to watch that she doesn't poke her eye out with it.

Here she has manuvered her way next to the TV stand...and she seems to know the door to open to get her toys ...she is so much fun to watch. She gets to "running" real fast in it and then will lift up her feet and coast the rest of the way - it really is funny - wish you could all see it in person - come visit!!!

And yes- i put pigtails in her hair. I don't do it all the time b/c i can't always get her to sit still...and i can't always get them even...but i think they make her look super cute.

And of course...the "girlie girl" stuff is just starting...pigtails are just a small dab of what she is getting at Nannie's house....notice she is already in the jewelry drawer having a blast.
And she finally is rolling over BOTH directions...that is right 5 days shy of her 8 month and she can finally move pretty good. She has mastered sitting for a while...hence she loves playing on the gigantic dog at nannies.

Kyler was playing with Beth - he can walk along side her in the walker b/c he is holding on to it. I think those too had a fun time at Jamie and Chase's during superbowl. I know all the "grown-ups" had a good time.

And of course Christi was entertaining her little Beth while mommy was off snacking on the wonderful food.

And look at those booties....a man's mother-in-law that works with John made them for her. They are really neat...she is our little indian...or at least she can scream like it - HA! HA!

Beth and Jolee Battle were also just hanging out the other day - Jill and I were trying to teach them early on how to do laundry- yeah right. But maybe they will be playing basketball together in the future. I am sure these tall young girls will make quite the pair.

And as February came around - so did Tessa's 30th B-day. Cora and i went up and spent the day and night. We had a great time - as so did Tessa. And her boyfriend Grant is a catch! We all love him.

Just a tame few of the crowd at the party....once the Wii got busted out...me and Mason (her 4 year old nephew) had some crazy fun....i was sore the next morning...and sadly enough - he was beating at most every game...i blame this on my parents - we NEVER owned a video game...and contrary to popular belief - i was NOT born under a rock...just "sheltered".

Christmas 2008

Welll - Beth's first Christmas came and went faster than we thought. I apologize in advance...the pictures are in backwards chronological order...and most you will have to turn you head sideways...sorry...but i do hope you enjoy seeing how her first christmas went.

Here - she and Kyler (haleigh and monty's boy who is 2 months older) are playing with her new toys...she doesn't mind sharing ... YET!!! Beth is on her very cool zebra that nana Sally bought her....it is the coolest toy b/c it has just about everything on in. Notice dad is close b/c she tends to get excited and fall off.
Beth and her Elmo live...she is not sure what to think of him....b/c she doesn't know how to make him work...but she giggles when john pushes the buttons and makes him dance.

Beth and Daddy are both tired after 4 long days of christmas.

Beth and Little Jill had a great time playing together.

Uncle Mark let Beth try on his hat before he had to leave...too cute.

Aunt Ashley sure is wonderful with Beth too...they played most of the evening.

Beth is opening up her stocking at Nana and PaPaw Kellermeier's -she must have been a VERY good girl...or at least her grandmas and grandpas thought so.

Nana Kellermeier and Beth are reading a book until we can open gifts.

She has on her I love John Deere shirt...it is the cutest oufit. Thanks to Brenda and Stacey.
Beth and Opa Sonnenberg taking their turn in the rocking chair.

Aunt Kerri and Beth look like they are planning something.

Uncle Clif and Beth just chill out on the couch after tough work opening all the gifts.

Cousin Johnathan helps Beth play on her tractor.

Johnathan is GREAT with Beth....he might be better than Clif. HE ! He!

Beth just bangin on some new toys.

". John and Johnathan helped Beth open her "loot.

Brenda and Stacey holding their little niece.

Daddy and Beth opening gifts on Christmas morning...that was the best moment this year.

Beth in her walker that Santa got her...she can get it to move...but doesn't realize she is doing it yet...i guess a few more months and she will be cruising in it.

And i have discovered that a wooden spoon is an EXCELLENT toy. Keeps her content for several minutes.

Christmas picture time

Well - here is my attempt at some "professional looking" pictures. We got Beth dressed in her Christmas dress (yes - i know it is black and white - but the others just weren't as pretty)...then i grabbed some of the prettier gifts and stuck them all around her...oh yes - the glittery shatterproof ornament in her hand was a good distraction from the bows (at least for a while). I think they turned out good. I couldn't pick out the one i liked most - so i just up loaded all of them - ENJOY!!!

I think this is cute b/c it looks like she is pouting for more presents...too funny!

6 months & 1st Thanksgiving

Well - here is Miss Beth surrounded by all kinds of presents at Nana Kellermeier's house. She really loved playing with all the gold shiny ribbon. She is sitting up really well....only topples over after a few minutes...only concern - she is too spoiled (or lazy) to roll over. Hopefully she will accomplish that milestone soon. Here she is with Robin after a day of partying for Bryson's 3rd birthday. We always love going over there - and Robin has been so helpful with advise throughout this first six months...i don' t know what i would do without her.

Beth had to catch a "cat nap" towards the end of Bryson's birthday party...just to much fun hanging out with Kymbree.

Jodi came in for Bryson's b-day party too....so Beth got to hang out with her "aunt jojo" all weekend. It sure was good to see her - i really do miss her. She is getting married this summer! Woohoo!!! Lucky guy.

Here is her 6 month picture. She sure can "ham it up" now. It is so much fun when she smiles and giggles back. She got 4 shots (one vaccine and the flu shot) and one oral vaccine at the doctor's office. Weight was 16lb14oz (67%), Height was 27.5 inches (95%) and head was (86%)...can't remember the circumference right now. Everything looks good - we get to start on meats...but no stage 3 foods b/c she has no teeth yet...nor does she roll over...but she does sit up unsupported.

Beth and Kymbree are just hanging out at Bryson's b-day party. I am hoping they will turn out to be as good of friends as her mom and I. That sure would be fun. These two girls were sure having fun touching (pulling) each others hair.

She can stand and "bear weight" on her legs really well. And she just looked too cute in this picture not to share. And no - i didn't turn the picture...b/c it does something in my camera and i end up losing the picture forever...so please just turn your head...and don't make fun of me :)

She loves laying on Daddy's tummy. Too bad she hates tummy time all the rest of the time...or she might learn to roll over. HE! HE!

Beth and Daddy under the mistletoe. Boy - does she LOVE grabbing the bell and playing with it.

And yes...she loves sparkly things. If she could - she would yank everything she could off the try and shove it in her mouth. Here - she is laughing so hard...you think she would explode.

This is Sally's christmas tree this year...i just thought it was an awesome idea...so wanted to share it with everyone.

She also LOVES the chair that Nana Kellermeier has for children...it is super cute.
And of course - Miss Nosey had to grab a hold of the christmas trees as Sally was putting them up. Looks like she is going to take after Mommy.

She had her first Thanksgiving. This is her cousin Chad...he is quite the athlete at Wall Jr. High. I think he and John are so much alike. It is so much fun watching him "grow up".

And here is Beth with her cousing "Little Jill"...i think these two girls will look a lot alike. Jill sure is cute...and LOVES to hold Beth.

And here is the 5 generation picture. John, Sally, Sally's mom (Nannie) and Sally's grandma (Mam ma). It is really neat that we have a 5 generation picture...we got one made at Sears too...and it turned out really good.
