First Photo Session

Here is Beth's first photo session with my cousin Laray. We are blessed to have such a talented family member to come take pictures of our beautiful little girl. Thanks again Laray - you are the best.

Beth would have eaten the dress if i would give her time - she explores everything she can with her mouth...it is too cute. But as Daddy says - she shouldn't be practicing lifting up her dress!! HE! HE!

Not from the photo session - but had to put the bonnet on at least one outfit...she really is cute.

Here she is with the two most wonderful women ever. Nannie is who keeps her while I go to work....and her mother Mam ma (Beth's great-great grandma) comes to visit as often as she can.

Here is Beth at her Great-Aunt Diane's house. We are now calling her Auntie D...and she gave Beth her first ponytail...with a little bow - it turned out cute.
Aunt D is also #1 in putting perm rollers in her hair. Can you believe a 3 month old can have hair long enough to get in those things. CRAZY!!!!
Beth and John - isn't he handsome....I truly married the best man ever!!!

One more picture of the most important people in my world. Nothing is more wonderful than a daddy's girl. She is right at home in his arms.

3 months and counting

Well - it has been about a month again - so i have tons of pictures. We took this one Saturday. We decided to try out her Texas Tech cheerleading outfit this weekend before we head up to Lubbock in a couple of weeks.

Here Daddy and Beth are at our first Ballinger Bearcat football game. We left after the 3rd quarter b/c the cats were losing - Beth was so upset - she cried the whole way home. I think it will be a while before we travel somewhere after her bedtime.
Sitting with her cousing "little Jill" at Chad's football game. Chad is going to be quite the athlete and i think Beth is practicing screaming so that her and "little Jill" can cheer for Chad together. Can you see the resemblence...i can.

Great-Grandma Gertrude and Great-Grandpa Edward had to take their turns at holding Beth at Chad's game too - can you blame them?

Beth and Pa Paw Kellermeier are just hanging out talking to each other...she is getting to be such a big girl and she loves to sit up.

Beth and Kymbree Hirt are having some girl time...already holding hands...it won't be long before these two girls are hanging out like their mommies.

All dressed up for Jamie Davis and Chase Akin's wedding. Our number one babysitter - Stephanie Cain took care of her most of the night...Beth LOVES her aunt Steph.

Had to get one pose with the Bride - Jamie is goregous...and was sweet enough to take some time to visit with miss Beth and Steph.

All tuckered out after the wedding ceremony...Beth decided to catch a quick cat nap on Daddy before the dance and reception got going.

Here is our 3 month picture - wow - it is hard to believe she is that old already - time is flying and she is growing and changing so much. I know that all the advice from other moms is so true. I have to enjoy her while she is small - b/c it won't last long.

We got a Bumbo in today...and it is really cool b/c she can't sit without support - but this thing allows her to do just that...it is going to be a God send i am sure.

Beth is just hanging out and looks so cute in this onsie...i think it is my favorite. Her face is changing so much....and she is finally chunking up a little bit. I think she might have my eyebrows....and pretty sure my lungs b/c she sure can squeal now.

She is one HAPPY baby. After the colicy first eight weeks...she has become a true joy. She wakes up smiling and pretty much only gets fussy when it is time to take a nap or eat. I just love her smile. Nothing melts a heart faster.

Beth is just catchin a nap on Opa Sonnenberg. She really likes hanging out in his lap - and he adores her more than anything in the world. She is definitely Opa's #1 girl.

Here is Nannie holding Beth at Lindsey and BJ's baby shower. Nannie and Pa have been amazing. They are keeping her each day while i go to work and teach...and John and I will never be able to repay them for the blessing they are giving us. Beth LOVES going to Nannie and Pa's....she is being loved and spoiled daily and i couldn't be happier about it.

Finally - a picture of Beth and me. Mommies don't much picture time - b/c we are always holding the camera...but i had John take a picture of us girls all dressed up and headed to Lindsey's baby shower.

Busy, Busy, Busy - Growing, Growing, Growing

Well - it has been more than a month - but i have been very busy - and she has been growing like a weed...so here are all the pictures. The first one is proof that we can actually get her to sleep in the swing....woohoo!!!!
Here she is in the cutest little sundress just laying out on the couch....kinda looks like a magazine photo - right? Or is that just a proud momma talking?
Her and Holly are just stretched out on the couch catching a baseball game that daddy is watching.

Can we say Daddy's Little Girl?

Here we are at Mark (John's brother) and Ashley's wedding rehearsal...finally a family picture. Hopefully we will have some professional ones taken soon when we can find some time.

Devilish grin....she might be like her momma. She started smiling real good around 8 weeks and it is so much fun when she smiles back at us. Makes the 2 0'clock feeding not seem so bad.

She is in her cute little wedding outfit - not to mention the john deere blanket background that my mom so graciously sewed for her... thank goodness for my mom - she becomes a bigger hero everyday. What would we do without our moms?

Here it is - our 2 month picture - boy is she ever changing?

For those that know - we painted our house a few weeks ago....the tan is the old color and the darker grey/brown is the new paint color. It looks awesome!!! Come visit us.

Here she is in her hunting outfit that Nanna Kellermeier got her - she is just propped up watching tv....she loves to sit up like a big girl....although it will be awhile before she can do this on her own...but for now - if she starts to cry - we jsut prop her up - and it works pretty good.

Here is a close up of her and she is just so adorable.

Her and Oma Sonnenberg enjoyed some time together.

And we took her to her first footballl game last night - go bobcats. We lost - but Julie Wheat (another math teacher i work with) sure enjoyed holding her. Who wouldn't?

One month old and counting...

Here she is in here July 4th outfit...what a cutie pie!!! Only 3 weeks old and already partying.
We started the holiday at the Mathis household with Aunt Kerri and Uncle Clif.

Then we scooted on out to the Cain's new house. Stephanie is holding her tight and she did really well at the party...she didn't mind all the noise and got passed around like a little hot potatoe.

Beth's favorite spot is on daddy's chest...she loves to catch cat naps with him...so does he!!!

Here is her one month old picture (July 12th)...she sure is stretching out a lot...and she now weighs 9lbs - so i am excited to know that breastfeeding is working well - just hope i can keep it up once school starts back (i sure am going to hate going back to work).

TUMMY TIME with Patches. She sure seems strong...but i know it will be a while longer before she can hold her head up. John and I were both worried how the wiener dogs would take to her...but all has been well so far. They mainly just want to lick her all over (probably to get any left over breastmilk on her face - he! he!) Patches decided to lay next to her while she tried out tummy time for the first time...they both did really well.

Finally another update...

Sorry i haven't updated the blog...but motherhood has really taken up sometime...and i am trying to steal naps anytime my little angel will let me. We had her two week appointment on June 26th and she weighed 8lbs....Dr. Wagnon says that is great - meaning my breastmilk is satisfying her...and she is growing...so all is good...we go back for her two month appointment August 14th...where she will get her vaccines - OUCH!!! Her umbilical cord finally came off after her two week appointment...so we gave her the first "real" bath.

Tessa came to see Beth the next weekend after she was born...it was great to get to visit her...and i can i just say i am always so jealous of her hair...hopefully she will teach Beth how to have nice hair all the time...b/c we all know i am not big on keeping my looks up.

Her is the picture John and I took and made announcements out of...she looks just like her daddy.
Her Haleigh is holding Beth and I am holding Kyler (Haleigh and Monty's little boy) - he is so cute and 9 weeks older than Beth...looks like i better enjoy her while she is small b/c it doesn't seem to take too long before they get big.
Here is Kymbree (Robin & Chad's beautiful little girl) and Beth. Kymbree is 17 days older than Beth...but weighed in at 9lb14oz at birth...but the funny thing is knowing that this picture will be the exact opposite of the girls as they get older b/c Beth will probably be much bigger than Kymbree later on. Beth and Daddy just hanging out watching some TV - no crying - woohoo!!!
e got Beth baptized Sunday June 29th at Holy Family Church in Mereta - Father Tom performed the ceremony (he also married us) - and Uncle Mark is the Godfather - hence he got to hold her during the screaming rampage...it might be a tad longer before he and Ashley consider children now - HA! HA! Beth and I just hanging out...or should i say - she is streched out and i am just glad she is content.
